Compilation of articles about Constitutional Changes in Cuba, from a multidisciplinary perspective. The first two essays, by Carlos Manuel Rodríguez Arechavaleta and Rafael Rojas, undertake a tour of the Cuban constitutional history, from the founding text of Hispanic liberalism on 1812 in Cádiz, to the socialist Constitution of 1976. Marlene Azor and Armando Chaguaceda make a review of the constitutional order of 1976 and the conceptual reordering of the endowment of fundamental rights. Yvon Grenier and Velia Cecilia Bobes immerse themselves into the period of differentiation between State and society that followed the institutionalization of the Cuban system. To conclude, Ramón I. Centeno and Haroldo Dilla study the Cuban political system, its resistance to change or its possibilities of openness in the coming years.
